Thursday

We arrived on a sunny Thursday afternoon and launched at Beaumaris to dive Puffin Island. With visibility at about 1m underwater conditions weren’t great but above water there were so many Puffins and other sea birds to see. We were staying in a beautiful cottage on Holyhead.

Friday

A grey start on Friday we launched at Amlwch Port and dived by Point Lynas Lighthouse. We followed this up with some waterskiing!

Saturday

On Saturday we launched from Trearddur Bay. We had two fantastic dives – the SS Missouri and Roscolyn Point. We saw jewel anemones, conger eels, dogfish, nudibranchs, flat worms, shrimp, scorpion fish and giant spider crabs.

Sunday

We finished off the trip with a journey out to The Skerries where we found tompot blennies, lobsters and squat lobsters. On the return journey we had porpoises all around us.
